The Orthopaedic Practice and Surgery (TOPS) is a one-stop bone and joint clinic located at Starmed Specialist Centre and Mount Elizabeth Hospital (Orchard). Our goal is to provide the highest level of orthopaedic care that is up to date with latest medical advances.
We are focused on working closely with patients to achieve their goals and expectations, across a spectrum of high-level professional sports and pain-free lifestyle exercises for the maintenance of health and quality of life. Our vision is to empower and engage patients to manage their own health throughout the treatment, recovery, and rehabilitation journey.

We have fellowship-trained, Singapore Ministry of Health accredited lower limb and upper limb orthopaedic surgeons.
Dr Lim Chin Tat, our lower limb senior consultant has been trained in Stanford University Hospital, USA and Oxford University Hospital, UK under a Ministry of Health scholarship.
Dr Eileen Tay, our upper limb senior consultant has undergone extensive training in Hôpital de La Tour, Geneva, Switzerland and Arkus Sportklinik, Pforzheim, Germany. Her last position was the Head of Shoulder and Elbow Division in Ng Teng Fong Hospital. Both have them have worked for many years in Singapore government hospitals with vast experience in complex surgeries.
We are a group that has an additional focus on managing athletes and sports professionals. Being one of only a few clinics that is certified with Graduate Diploma in Sports Medicine, we are experienced in treating professional and national athletes along their sporting careers. We work closely with them to optimize their physical performance so that they may return to competitive sports within a short turn-around time.
We have two orthopaedic specialists to take care of your bone and joint conditions. In addition, TOPS@ Starmed Specialist Centre has access to a professionally staffed rehabilitation centre, advanced technology and imaging such as magnetic resonance imaging as well as in-house cardiology services.
